Inpatient Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Physician
StartDate: ASAP Pay Rate: $290000.00 - $350000.00

Work a 7-on/7-off hospitalist schedule or a Monday–Friday model while joining a growing inpatient psychiatry team in Coastal Virginia. Opportunity Highlights

• Choose a 7-on/7-off hospitalist schedule or a Monday–Friday model with some weekend coverage
• Faculty appointment at Old Dominion University at Eastern Virginia Medical School with academic opportunities for scholarly activities — be involved in training the next generation of medical students, residents, and child & adolescent psychiatry fellows
• Join a growing team at the Children’s Pavilion
• Focus exclusively on inpatient child and adolescent psychiatry responsibilities
• Earn $290K–$350K per year based on experience
•   Receive a significant sign-on bonus of $30K plus relocation support
• Consider potential partnership-track employment with Children’s Specialty Group
• Access to inpatient psychiatry nurse practitioner (NP) support during daytime and after hours
• Collaborate with an embedded psychology team and clinical pharmacist consultants
• Join a program targeting 50 beds by Fall 2026 and 60 beds by Fall 2027
• Practice within a full continuum that includes outpatient and partial hospitalization services
• Work in a purpose-built pediatric mental health facility with private rooms, family accommodations, and specialized inpatient units
