Lilith offers summer and semester-long internships to college students and recent graduates. Summer interns are expected to commit to at least two afternoons per week in Lilith's New York City office (typically 10 hours per week). School-year internships may be one or two afternoons a week in the Lilith office. A modest stipend of $17/hour is offered.
A Lilith internship includes supervision by senior staff, participation in editorial meetings, and routine office work relating to: digital communications, reader and subscriber engagement; assigning and editing articles; preparing copy for design and print; news coverage of Jewish and feminist interest; manuscript reading; and more. College credit may be available. (Plus excellent snacks, wide-ranging experience, free books and good company!)
